How will this Gulf oil spill affect our health?
The gulf oil continues to leak and is now one of the biggest oil spills in world history. No doubt, it is destroying the coral reef and natural habitat of many species. This shows the human irresponsibility especially of oil companies. Sarah palin’s childish comments about “Drill baby drill” surfaced after this accident highlighting how could such a lady seeking one of the highest offices in the United States could make comments of a two year old.
Getting into the topic of health – I feel this oil spill will surely affect a lot of our health. With hurricane season right around the corner, who knows whats in store. These hurricanes are bound to pick up oil from the shores and bring them inland. It will create toxic and acid rain.
Its unfortunate, but this tragedy will have a lasting impact on future generations and our children! What are we leaving for them?
